Personal Travel // Lake Garda and Venice, Italy - Summer 2025

After Paris, we wanted to visit my dad and stepmom who live in Venice but took a quick weekend in Sirmione on Lake Garda first which was so nice to jump in a lake and swim after the heatwave in Paris.

After that, we took the train from Verona to Venice. We had never been and this was definitely an insider’s tour because my stepmom’s family is truly Venetian with deep roots in the Murano glass factories and they have friends all over the city so it felt like everywhere we went we ran into someone they knew who wanted to ply us with wine and food and tussle the hair and pinch the cheeks of our babes.
