If you follow my social media accounts then you probably know that we’re expecting our second little girl in May 2019! I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my maternity leave dates and details so I thought it would be best to just post it up publicly. I feel like since this is my second time around, I have a much better understanding of what is possible work-wise with pregnancy and the newborn stage and it’s easier to create these guidelines. As long as everything goes as planned, I will be exclusively breastfeeding this babe like I did with Reeve so it puts some constraints on how long I can be apart from her and how far away I can travel for shoots.

CHLOE MOORE PHOTOGRAPHY: MATERNITY LEAVE DETAILS 2019

WEDDINGS: No weddings between April 1st-August 15th 2019. All 2019 weddings must be local to LA area.
PORTRAIT SESSIONS: I will likely continue to shoot families, newborns, engagements and other portrait sessions up until about Easter (April 21) depending on how I'm feeling at the time. I want to allow enough time to finish up as much editing as possible before baby arrives! With our first baby, I was back to shooting families/newborns etc by the time she was 8 weeks old as long as the shoot is local to the South Bay for those first few weeks and I'm planning to do the same with this baby which would fall around early to mid July. (However, babies come on their own schedules so these dates obviously are not set in stone which is why if you're planning a time-sensitive shoot, like a newborn session, it would be best to have another photographer or two that you like on hand to reach out to in case I'm not available!)
